Hi all. I realize it's been a long time since I've made an update to any of my KS projects, and for that I'm very sorry. I didn't for a second want you to think that I've stopped working, or that I will fail in my commitments.
If you're interested and still reading, please take a moment to check out the more detailed view of things in my most recent State of the Realm update on the IGS website.
In short, though:
2024 was spent realizing a dream. A fantastic, wonderful, fully-realized dream, which turned out far better than I had even originally imagined... but, like much of my work, a dream that took far, far longer to complete than I had intended.
2025 will be spent exclusively catching up on Kickstarter commitments. First up is Artifacts & Artifice 3.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my visions and dreams over the past 9 years, and to those who continue to do so, and keep the faith. I will get there. It'll just take some more time. :)
My new year's resolution is to keep folks updated at least once a quarter, whether that's good news or bad news, at least to make sure there's clarity as to how things are going, and to confirm that they ARE indeed going!

Hi folks--a quick note that you should have in your inbox a free copy of the recently-released FlexTale FlexCrawl Toolkit.
This is the first of several products that will finally start delivering on the intent of FlexTale Encounter Generator 2.0 in a manner much more aligned with the original promises. To follow--and FREE for you most likely depending on your pledge level--will be map tile packs, theme packs, and most importantly, the Environment Guides, which are very much the vision of the terrain books that were originally mentioned as part of this project.

Apologies for the long-overdue nature of this update; I realize it's been a very long time since I've posted a formal State of the Realm. Life has been busy, and my day job has been insanely busy, but that's an explanation, not an excuse; backers deserve better, and I will strive to maintain a more regular communication and visibility in the future.

Short version: We've published a bunch so far in 2023, and right now my full attention is on Gauntlets & Gaslight, the next in line of Kickstarter project commitments. Following that will be Artifacts & Artifice 3.
I will continue to work on and deliver all of the outstanding kickstarter commitments as quickly as possible, and appreciate your continued patience.
Many of you have reached out to reassure me that you are thrilled with what you've received, and though you're of course eager to get everything else you're entitled to, you're comfortable waiting if it means quality and sanity. While I have no expectation that this sentiment applies to everyone reading this, I very much appreciate the thought. No matter what your level of frustration or eagerness, I will still deliver, and hope that you agree that the wait was worthwhile.
